RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 601
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
RENEWAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE WITH REFERENCE TO ANIMAL CONTROL SER-
VICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did, on February 15, 1966,
enter into an agreement with the County of Orange providing for
the rendering by the County, through its poundmaster of animal
and rabies control services within the corporate limits of the
City, to the extent and in the manner set forth in said agree-
ment as amended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it would be to the advantage and in the best interest of the
City to renew said agreement as amended in accordance with the
terms and conditions thereof for an additional five-year period
in accordance with paragraph seven of the said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires
that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange accept such
renewal for an additional five-year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement as amended entered into
by the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange on February 15,
1966 for complete animal control services be renewed for a
successive period of five years from February 15, 1971 through
February 14, 1976.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of December , 19 70.
