A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHElIvl AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE SOUTHERN
PACIFIC TRill~SPORTATION CO. AS CONSIDERATION

WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of the
under the Sante Fe Railway right-of-way, it has become
to acquire an easement from the Southern Pacific Trans-
Co.; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportation Co. has
tendered such an easement to the City of Anaheim in considera-
tion of the payment of the sum of $4,271.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interest of the City of Anaheim to acquire said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby
directed to draw ~ warrant of the City of Anaheim in the amount
of $4,271.00 payable to Southern Pacific Transportation Co., said
warrant to be charged against Work Order No. 566-B.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said warrant be returned to
the Office of the City Attorney for forwarding to the Southern
Pacific Transportation Co.
THE FOREGOING RESOLTION is approved and signed by me this
22nd day of December, 1970.
