WHEREAS, Fhe City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive! an application for a conditional use permit from LELA HATTON, 2~70 South Harbor, Anaheim, California, to permit the conversi~n of existing mobile home spaces into 22 additional overnigh~ travel trailer spaces on the following des- cribed R-A, AGRICULfURAL ZONE, property: All that certa~n land situated in the State of California. County of Oran,e, City of Anaheim, described as follows: . Al~D WHERE~, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at tpe City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said application on Octoper 19, 1970, notices of which said public hearing were duly g:iven as required by law and the provisions of Title la, Chapter l8.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code: and WHEREAS, paid Commission, after due inspection, investiga- tion and studies ma~e by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of al!L evidence and reports offered at said hearing did adopt its Resolution No. PC 70-189, granting Conditional Use Permit No. 1206 subDect to conditions; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City Planning Commission in granting said Conditional Use Permit and -2- "---=-'~~'~'"""'-''-''--'-~----'-' did thereupon fix ~e 8th day of December, 1970, as the time and the Council Chamber! in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a pub~ic hearing upon said Conditional Use Permit, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisi~ns of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, ~t the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City C~uncil did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, fIle City Council finds, after careful considera- tion of the recomme*dations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reworts offered at said hearing, that: 1. The propo$ed use is properly one for which a condition~l use permit is authorized by the Anaheim M~nicipal Code. 2. The propo~ed use will not adversely affect the adjoining!land uses and the growth and development of the ar~a in which it is proposed to be located. 3. The size 4nd shape of the site proposed for the use is adequa#e to allow the full development of the proposed qse in a manner not detrimental to the particula~ area nor to the peace, health, safety and general welfare. 4. The traff~c generated by the proposed use will not impose an undue burden upon the streets and high- ways designed and improved to carry the traffic in the area. 5. The grant~ng of the conditional use permit under the condi~ions imposed will not be detrimental to the peace.. health, safety and general welfare of the citizans of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim !that the action of the City Planning Commission granting said condibional use permit be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that IConditional Use Permit No. 1206 be, and the same is hereby gran~d permitting the conversion of existing mobile home spaces ~to 22 additional overnight travel trailer spaces on the properity hereinbefore described, subject to the following conditions': l. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department. 2. That the p~oposed development shall be in accordance with the requirements of the State laws pertaining to travel trailer parks, and that plumbing be provided in order tnat the travel trailer park shall accommodate all traile~s and not be restricted to ilCalifornia approved t~ailers" only. -3- '__..~,-.....,,-,,.-,,.,,,.,....._.~ 3. That the ,proposed travel trailer spaces shall be limited ~o recreational vehicles only as defined in Section ~8.215.5 of the California Administrative Code, and that !the recreational vehicles shall be allowed to remain w~thin said spaces for a maximum of two weeks for any ~ingle time. That sub~lect property shall be developed substantially in accorqance with plans and specifications on file with the iCity of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No.1. 4. 5. 'rhat Conqi tions Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, above mentioned, shall be 'complied with prior to final building and zoning idspections. 6. That the Iproposed use is granted for a period of three (3) year~, and upon request by the petitioner, an addition~l period of time may be granted upon approval by the p]anning Commission and/or City Council. The City !Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such Conditional Use Pe~it for good cause or failure of said owner, her heirs, success~rs or assigns to comply with the Anaheim Muni- cipal Code and regulations and the conditions herein.
