RESOLUTION NO. 70R-575
A RESOLU~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CCEPTING A PERMIT FROM THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE G TING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THE RIGHT
TO USE C RTAIN COUNTY REAL PROPERTY FOR THE
PURPOSE F CONDUCTING A MOTORCYCLE NOISE EMISSION
EXPERIME~T, ill~D AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SAID
PERMIT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has tendered to the City
of Anaheim a permi~ granting to the City the right and privilege
to use that real p~operty situated within the City of Anaheim and
shown on Exhibit "1}" on file in the office of the City Clerk and
made a part hereof!as though fully set forth herein, for the
purpose of conduct~ng a motorcycle noise emission experiment under
the conditions and terms as set forth in said permit; and
WHEREAS, .it appears that said property may be used for
public recreationa~ facilities in the future and such motorcycle
noise emission exp~riment is necessary to determine the said
property's adaptability for such use; and
WHEREAS, ithe City maintains a park and recreation
service for the putpose of furnishing public recreational facili-
ties and desires tQ obtain a permit for the purpose of utilizing
said property for $aid experiment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the
best interest of t~e City to accept said permit, and that the
Mayor and City Cletk should be authorized to execute said docu-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei* that the permit tendered to the City of
Anaheim by the Cou~ty of Orange, granting to the City the right
and privilege to U,e the property hereinbefore described for a
motorcycle noise . ission experiment under the terms and condi-
tions therein set orth, be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute said permit for and
on behalf of the C~ty of Anaheim.
