A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING TI-LF SET'rI.EflENT OF
CERTAIN EMINENT DO~~IN LITIGATION AND AUTHOR-
IZING P?\YMRNT IN CONNECTION THERE'i^lITH.
~mEREAS, heretoforc, on the 24th day of July, 1970,
the City of Anaheim filed suit to condemn certain parcels of
land for the construction of an underpass under the Atchison,
Topeka and Sant;:1 Fe Rail'ivay at Lei:ds Street in t1ie City of
Anaheim, being Superior Court Action No. 176200 entitled "CITY
OF AN1\HEII'!I vs FLOYD 1\ BLONER, et ux., et al": aneJ
WHEREAS the defendants in said action have offered
to deed to the City of Anahei.r1 thp easener.ts sought to be con-
demned i n consideratio~1 of the payment of $101,674. 00 ~ and
I~EPEAS, said sum represents a payment in line with
the City of Anaheim I S ;12?prais '"II of the pro?erty sought to be
condeT':med and the City Council fi'l<is th,'"It it would be in the
best interests of the Ci t:r of ?'u1ahr-dn to purchase said easements
for saic SUr:1. and accept thr Easement Deed tendered by the Defend-
ant in said action.
NOW 'rHEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that the Finanrc Director be, and he is

Elizabeth S. Pankey in the ~Dount o~ On0 Hundred One Thousand.

Defendants and that th~ City Cler~ be. and she is hereby, author-
ized and directed to record the same when the City Attorney's
0ffice advises that transmittal of the warrant to which reference
is marle in the preceding paragrap~ has been made.
