RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 558
A RESOLUfION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEtM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION or AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AND ENTERED
INTO W:rT~ THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILWAY ~Ol-1PANY, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GRADE
CROSSING! AND PROTECTIVE DEVICES AT THE CROSS-
ING OF S4>UTH STREET OVER TRACKS AND PROPERTY
OF RAILRt>AD (CROSSING NO. 2-168.3).
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a corporation, has tendered to the City of Anaheim an
agreement for the improvement of grade crossing and protective
devices at the crossing of South Street over tracks and property
of Railroad, at or ,near East Anaheim, in the County of Orange,
State of Californi~, (Crossing No. 2-168.3); and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would be
in the best intere$t of the City of Anaheim to enter into said
agreement with the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authori~ed and directed to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
