70R-544 RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 544 --- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN SETTLEMENT OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real property in settlement of eminent domain proceedings; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to convey the same to the City; and \~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept a Grant Deed for said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Alice Adell Brady and Barbara Jean Hidle, executrices of the Will of Alice E. Brady, aka Alice Edna Brady and Alice Brady, deceased, to convey to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, in settlement of eminent domain proceedings, and more particu- larly described as follows: The Westerly 121.80 feet of that parcel of land described as: That portion of the North 25 acres of the South 30 acres of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Tract No. 4321, as shown on a map recorded in Book 157, pages 9 et seq., of said Miscellaneous Maps; thence Southerly along the West line of said tract, 330.61 feet to the center line of Dutch Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as said center line is shown on the map of said tract; thence Westerly along the Westerly prolongation of said center line, 641.80 feet; thence Northerly, parallel to the West line of said tract, 330.61 feet to the North line of the South 30 acres of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 7; thence Easterly along said last mentioned North line, 641.80 feet to the point of beginning. This deed is made pursuant to Order of the Superior Court of the State of California, for the County of Orange, dated June 2, 1967 in the Matter of the Estate of Alice E. Brady, aka Alice Edna Brady and Alice Brady, Probate No. A-4724l. be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. - 1 - ,...- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause the foregoing Grant Deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County.
