RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 538

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
VlliEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 20th day of October, 1970, declare by Resolution No. 70R-520
its intention to vacate and abandon certain real property and
did set the 10th day of November, 1970, for a public hearing
thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 10th day of November, 1970, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that portions of the real property
described herein and in said Resolution of Intention are unnec-
cessary for present or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That those portions of the real property toward
which a request for vacation and abandonment was
directed are not necessary for present or prospec-
tive public utility purposes and does hereby order
that said portions, as herein set forth, be and
they are hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to
public use.
3. That said portions of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use are
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and are more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
That certain public utility easement located in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be abandoned, described in Deed re-
corded as Instrument No. 21908, December 6, 1950,
lying within Lot 2 of Tract No. 71, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, being a one-
foot strip of land, the centerline of which is de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of said Lot 2
distant westerly 470.53 feet from the northeast cor-
ner thereof; thence South parallel with the west
line of said Lot 2, a distance of 600 feet to the
point of terminus of said one-foot strip.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy

of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of November, 1970.
