RESOLUTION NO. 70R-498
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND D~RECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT DEED IN
FAVOR OF 'l'HE COUNTY OF ORANGE (BROOKHURST
STREET AlID WOODLEY AVENUE) .
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of an ease-
ment for road and public utility purposes along Brookhurst Street
in the vicinity of Woodley Avenuei and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is in the process of
improving Brookhurst Street in said area and needs to have said
easement for road and public utility purposes in connection with
said improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim that Brookhurst Street be so improved and. that the ease-
ment for road and public utility purposes be transferred from
the City of Anahe~ to the County of Orange.
NOW, THEIU&FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahe~ that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute an easement deed for
road and public utility purposes in favor of the County of Orange
covering the following described parcel of land situated in the
County of Orange arid State of California:
That portion of Lot 5, and the adjoining well site, as
shown on a map of Tract No. 1569, recorded in Book 47,
Page 17, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, which lies within the following described
parcel of land:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Brookhurst
Street and Woodley Avenue as said intersection is shown
on a map of said Tract No. 1569; thence N. 00 16' 10" W.
along said center line of Brookhurst Street, 133.00 feet
to the Northeast corner of said Tract No. 1569: thence
N. 890 36' 20" W., along the North line of said Tract,
60.00 feet to a line parallel with and 60.00 feet Wester-
ly from said center line of Brookhurst Street; thence
S. 00 16' 10" E. along said parallel line, 92.83 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly
and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Southwesterly
along said curve through a central angle of 900 39' 50"
an arc distance of 23.73 feet to the tangent intersection
with the Northerly line of said Woodley Avenuei thence S.
00 23' 40" W., 25.00 feet to a point on the center line
of said Woodley Avenue; thence S. 890 36' 20" E., along
last said center line 75.46 feet to the point of beginning.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
