RESOLUTION NO. 70R-491
A RESOLU~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ~PROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A
LICENSE ERMITTING THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO USE THE
NAVAL AI STATION AT LOS ALAMITOS, CALIFORNIA FOR
A PERIODj OF APPROXIMATELY FOUR MONTHS AND AUTHORI-
ZING THE: MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
LICENSE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns two helicopters,
registration numbets N9606F and N9607F for police patrol and
surveillance; and
WHEREAS, City personnel are presently being trained
to fly said helicopters; and
WHEREAS, the United States of America has offered to
permit the City of Anaheim to use Los Alamitos Naval Air Station
for the purpose of air crew training.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei~ that the terms and conditions of a license
between the United States of America and the City of Anaheim per-
mitting the City of Anaheim to use Los Alamitos Naval Air Station
for a period commepcing on September 28, 1970 and continuing for
approximately four months be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute said license on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREpoING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 6th day of' October, 1970.
