RESOLUTION NO. 70R-466
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ASSIGNING THE NAME "MEDICAL CENTER DRIVE II
TO THE EAST-WEST STREET LOCATED PARALLEL TO AND
NORTH OF ~OMNEYA DRIVE AND EXTENDING WEST FROM
EUCLID STIUtET.
WHEREAS, the east-west private street located parallel
to and approximately 350 feet north of Romneya Drive and extending
west from Euclid Street in the City of Anaheim has never been
assigned a definite street name; and
WHEREAS, Forest Lawn Cemetery Association is developing
a major medical complex south of the aforementioned private street
in the City of Anaheim on the property owned by Brigham Young
University, with ona medical suite already constructed fronting on
said street and several more being planned for construction in the
near future; and
WHEREAS, the said private street will ultimately be
dedicated to the City of Anaheim and will also serve the Brigham
Young University property when developed; and .
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that the assignment
of a street name to said private street will provide owners and
tenants of the medidal suites with proper identification, and that
by reason of the foregoing facts, public convenience and necessity
require that said street be assigned a definite street name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the name "Medical Center Drivell be assigned
to the private street located parallel to and approximately 350 feet
north of Romneya Drive and extending west from Euclid Street in the
City of Anaheim, with all street signs conforming to the standards
of the City of Anaheim, and all costs associated with the fabrica-
tion and erection of said signs being borne by Forest Lawn Cemetery
Association, and that henceforth and hereafter such street shall be
known and designated upon all maps by the name IIMedical Center
Drive. II
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 22nd day of September, 1970.
