RESOLUTION NO. 70R-465
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND AN
EXISTING S~R EASEMENT AND RESERVING THERE-
FROM A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 1st day of September, 1970, declare by Resolution No.
70R-43l its intention to vacate and abandon certain property and
an existing sewer easement indicating its intention to reserve
a certain public utility easement therefrom, and did set the
22nd day of September, 1970, for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 22nd day of September, 1970, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that the real property and an exist-
ing sewer easement described herein and in said Resolution of
Intention are unnecessary for present or prospective roadway and
alley and sewer purposes but that a certain public utility ease-
ment should be reserved therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That said real property and an existing sewer easement
toward which a request for vacation and abandonment was
directed are not necessary for present or prospective
roadway and alley and sewer purposes and does hereby
order that said real property and said sewer easement,
as herein set forth, be and they are hereby vacated,
abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That said real property and said sewer easement herein
ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use are
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and are more particularly described
as follows, to wit:
Parcel One;
Those certain alleys 15 feet wide lying between Lots 1,
4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 and that
certain alley 15 feet wide lying between Lots 10, 11,
12 and 13, all located within the Schaffer-Oswald
Subdivision, as shown on a Map thereof, recorded in
Book 7, page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility pur-
poses over, under and across the entire 15 foot wide
alleys described above to be abandoned, together with
all rights of ingress and egress.

Parcel Two:
That portion of an existing public utility easement for
construct~on, maintaining and operating thereon, sanitary
sewers anq water supply lines and flushing devices
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of Califo~nia, to be abandoned described as the southerly
109 feet of that certain easement reserved in the reser-
vation described in Document Number 6660 recorded March
23, 1940, records of Orange County, California.
4. That the City Council finds that an easement should be
reserved for public utility purposes over, under and
across all the alleys to be abandoned, together with
all right of ingress and egress to same.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of September, 1970.
