A RESOLUTXON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DtCLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CER-
TAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING
THEREON.
WHEREAS, 1;he City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed 4nder the provisions of the Public Service
Easements Vacation ~aw in connection with a request for vacation
and abandonment of qertain real property hereinafter described.
NOW, THERI$FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use portions of roadways,
alleys and easement~ as they may relate to the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and
State of California, to wit:
PARCEL ONE:
That portion of a former Anaheim Union Water Company right
of way 33 feet. wide for a pipe line and the conveyance of
water and irrigation purposes lying within fractional North-
west quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., a~quired by the City of Anaheim by quit claim
deed recorded $eptember 25, 1964, in Book 7235, page 256, 257
and 258, records of Orange County, California, the centerline
of which is described as follows:
Conunencing at ~he northwest corner of the fractional northwest
quarter of said Section 7, said northwest corner being for
the purposes of this description, the centerline intersection
of La Palma Av~nue and Rio Vista Street; thence South 00 10'
5811 West, 500 teet along the centerline of said Rio Vista
Street to the ~rue point of beginning of the centerline herein
described; the~ce following along a line in a generally
Northeasterly direction, 950 feet, more or less, to an inter-
section with t_e southerly right of way line of the Riverside
Freeway, said point of intersection being the point of
terminus of the line herein described, said point of inter-
section and point of terminus being distant northerly 22 feet
from the southwest corner of Lot 22, Block K of the Kraemer
Tract, as shoW!l on a Map recorded in Book 12, page 87 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL TWO:
An easement to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to,
repair, replac~ and/or remove in, on and over the land
described in C~rtificate No. 11,619, an electric line con-
sisting of pol~s, necessary guys and anchors, cross arms,
wires and other fixtures and appliances for conveying elec-
tric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone,
and/or other purposes. All poles shall be erected and main-
tained within Cne foot of the following described line as
conveyed to the Southern California Edison Company Ltd., a
corporation, of Deeds recorded in Book 177, page 42, records
of Los Angeles County, California, and transferred to the
City of Anaheim to be abandoned described as follows:

Beginning at a point in the ~outherly line of property of
grantors, whiqh point is 40 feet easterly, measured thereon
from the westarly line thereof; thence Northerly parallel to
said Westerly line to a point which is 65 feet southerly,
measured at r~ght angles from the northerly lines of said
property; t~e4ce Easterly parallel to said northerly line
to a point in the northeasterly line of said property.
and it elects to p~oceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easements Vacation Law.
BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons in~erested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandQnment has been fixed on the 6th day of October,
1970, at 1:30 o'cldck P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall
in the City of Anabeim.
AND BE I~ FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the pas~age of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be publish~d in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in ~aid City of Anaheim.
