RESOLUTION NO. 70R-455
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of
ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CER-
TAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING
THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed ~der the provisions of the Public Service
Easements Vacation L.w in connection with a request for vaca-
tion and abandonment of certain real property hereinafter
described with the City retaining and reserving a certain over-
head easement for pQwer line overhang and cross arm purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use portions of roadways,
alleys and easements as they may relate to the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and
State of California, to wit:
That portion of an existing public utility easement located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described in Deed recorded March 4, 1949 in Book 1810, page
538 and 539, records of Orange County, California, to be
abandoned, described as follows:
The southerly five feet of that portion of the North half of
the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Northwest
quarter, South 366.00 feet from the Northwest corner of
the Northwest quarter of said Section; thence East 666.00
feet parallel with the north line of said Section; thence
South 220.00 feet parallel with the west line of said Section;
thence West 666.00 feet parallel with the north line of said
Section to the west line of said Section; thence North 220.00
feet along the west line of said Section to the point of
beginning.
Said land is shown on a Map filed in Book 11, page 38 of
Record of Surveys, in the office of said County Recorder.
Reserving therefrom an easement for overhang and overhead
purposes for power lines, cross arms, over, along and across
all of the southerly five feet above described.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easements Vacation Law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
declares that it intends to reserve a certain overhead easement
for power line overhang and cross arm purposes in connection
with the requested vacation and abandonment, details of which
are on file in the Office of the City Clerk for further parti-
culars.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 6th day of
October , 19 70 , at 1: 30 0' clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of September, 1970.
