RESOLUTION NO. 70R-448
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 25th day of AUfust, 1970, declare by Resolution No. 70R-425
its intention to vacate and abandon certain real property herein-
after described, and did set the 15th day of September, 1970, for
a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 15th day of September, 1970, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said pUblic hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that said certain real property
described herein and in said Resolution of Intention is unnecessary
for present or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly held
and that all notices were given and publications made as
required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which a
request for vacation and abandonment was directed is not
necessary for present or prospective public utility pur-
poses and does hereby order that said portion, as herein
set forth, be and it is hereby vacated, abandoned and
closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and is more particularly described as
follows, to wit:
That portion of a certain public utility easement located in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
lying within a portion of Lot 29 of Anaheim Extension, as
shown on a Map made by William Hamel in 1868 and filed in
Book 3, page 163 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, described in the deed recorded February
28, 1912 in Book 209, page 373 of Deeds, records of Orange
County, California, to be abandoned, described as follows:
All that portion of the above mentioned easement described in
said deed recorded February 28, 1912 in Book 209, page 373 of
Deeds, records of said Orange County, California, lying within
Parcels one, two and three, as shown on a Parcel Map recorded
in Book 28, page 44, Official Records, April 28, 1970.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
