RESOLUTION NO. 70R-431
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
REARING THEREON.
wHEREAS, the City Council of tne City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 and the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5,
Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code in connection with a
request for vacation and abandonment of certain real property
:iereinafter described and an existing sewer easement with the
City retaining and reserving a certain easement for public utility
purposes therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate,
abandon and close to public use portions of roadways, alleys and
easements as they may relate to the following described property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and State of
California, to wit:
Those certain alleys and existing sewer easement located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be abandoned, described as follows:
Parcel One:
Those certain alleys 15 feet wide lying between Lots 1,
4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 and that certain
alley 15 feet wide lying between Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13,
all located within the Schaffer-Oswald Subdivision, as
shown on a Map thereof, recorded in Book 7, page 41 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility purposes
over, under and across the entire 15 foot wide alleys des-
cribed above to be abandoned, together ~vith all rights of
ingress and egress.
Parcel Two:
That portion of an existing public utility easement for
construction, maintaining and operating thereon, sanitary
sewers and water supply lines and flushing devices located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be abandoned described as the southerly 109
feet of that certain easement reserved in the reservation
descril-)ed in Document Number 6660 recorded March 23, 1940,
records of Orange County, California.
and it elects to ~roceed under the provisions of the Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941 <'me the Public Service Easement Vacation Law,
Title 5, Division 1, A.rticle 5 of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
declares that it intends to reserve a certain easement for public
utility purposes in connection \\lith the requested vacation and
andonment, details of whic' are on ~ile in the Office of the
:ity Clerk for further pRrticulars.
BS IT FURTHER RESOLVED tha.t a. time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objectins to the proposed vacation

and abandonment has been fixed on the 22nd day of September ,
1970, at 1:30 o'clock :2.H. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall
in the City of /,.naheirn.

same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, 2 newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
