RESOLUTION NO. 70R-415
A RESOLUT[ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE~ DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN ~ PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of certain real property hereinafter described.
NOW, THERtFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that certain easement
for public utility purposes upon, over, along and through the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, and State of California, to wit:
That certain p~blic utility easement located in the City
of Anaheim, Co~nty of Orange, State of California, to be
abandoned desctibed as:
A public utili~y easement over a 5.00-foot strip of land,
being a portiom of Lot 71, Tract No. 5593, as shown on
a Map thereof, recorded in Book 243, pages 15 through 18,
inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; th~ northeasterly line of said S.OO-foot strip
or lanu being more particularly described as follows:
Beginnin~ at the most easterly corner of said Lot 71; thence
North 55 23' 01" West 121. 39 feet to the most northerly
corner of said Lot 71. The southwesterly line of said
5-foot strip of land shall be lengthened or shortened so
as to terminate on the northwesterly line and the south-
easterly line of said Lot 71.
SUBJECT TO: All covenants, rights, rights-of-way and ease-
ments of record.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation L~w, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons int~rested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 8th day of
September , 1970, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the pass~ge of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
