A RESOLUTIO~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AN~EIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE ~8 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATI~G TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT TH~ BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE C~ANGED.
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a puijlic hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 70-71-2. to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anahe~m Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change ~n the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned .and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and ~eports from persons interested therein
and from its staff: a~d
WHEREAS, wi~hin a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report ot its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adQpted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth: and
WHEREAS, upqn receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission tne City Council did fix the 11th day
of Augvst , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers 1n the City Ball of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Munici~al Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situa~ed and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Coun~il did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon conside~ the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing b~fore the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and rec~endation: and
WHEREAS, th~ City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, s~tuated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

Lot 2 in Block G of the new subdivision of Vineyard Lot
D-S in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in book 17 page 73 of
Miscellaneous ~ecords, in the Office of the County
Recorder of LoS Angeles County, California.
be excluded from R-p, Multiple-Family Zone, and incorporated in
C-2, General Commerpial Zone, upon the following conditions:
1. That a 6-~oot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the nort~ property line.
2. That any parking area lighting proposed shall be down-
lighting of a maximum height of 6-feet, which lighting
shall be directed away from the property lines to
protect the residential integrity of the area.
3. That subject property shall be served by underground
utili ties', if developed with structures.
4. That the Ifinal parking plan shall be approved by the
Developmept Services Department, and any landscaped
areas in ~he parking area shall be protected with 6-inch
high, concrete curbs, and concrete wheel stops shall be
provided for parking spaces as required by the Develop-
ment serv~ces Department.
S. That Con~itions Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, above mentioned,
shall be complied with prior to final building and
zoning inspections.
BE IT FU~HER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby autho~ized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an or~nance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to aFcomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be n~cessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 11th day of August, 1970.
