A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CONFIRMING THE ITEMIZED WRJ;TTEN REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS SHOWING THE COST OF WEED A.:8A.TEMENT IN FRONT OF OR
ON EACH SQA,RATE P~BCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE CITY WHERE
SUCH WEEDS RAVE BEEN REMOVED OR A.BAXED BY THE CITY AND DIRECT-
ING THE FIUNG OF A CEBTIFIED COpy THEREOF WITH THE COUNTY
AUDITOR.
WEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of ADaheim
having filed his rep01:t showing the cost of removing weeds and rank growth~
rubbish and refuse from any parcel or parcels of real property and public
streets in the City of Anaheim, as heretofore ordered by Resolution No. 70R-
197, and the City Counei1 having h-eard said report, and no objections having
been raised by the property owners liable to be assessed for the work of
abating such nuisance}
NOW, THERElORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby resolve and orfer as follows:
1. That tlie Report of said Superintendent of Streets be and
the same is hereby coafirmed.
2. That tie cost as to each lot, as set forth in said report ef
the Superintendent of Streets, is ascertained ud determined to be a correct
cost.
3. That all sums for the cost of removal of weeds, rubbish and
refuse not paid on or before the first of July 1970, are hereby declared to
be a lien upon the p~perty from which such weeds, rubbish and refuse have
been removed by the Sisperintendent ot Streets, and shall be collected with
the taxes on said property.
4. That the City of Anaheim Finance Director be and he. is hereby
authorized and directe.d to file with the County Auditor of the County of
Orange, on or before August 10, 1970, a certified copy of this resolution
and a certified copy of the Report of the Superintendent of Streets hereby
confi.rmed; and the C01mty Auditor is authorized and requested to enter each
assessment on the County tax rolls opposite the parcel of land, and add the
amount of the assessnumt to the next regular tax bill levied against each
of said parcels for municipal purposes.
