70R-389 RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 389 A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI~ AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT:BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND HUMBLE OIi. AND REFINING COMPAN.Y AND ACCEPTING AN EASEME T DEED FROM HUMBLE OIL AND REFINING COMPANY, RANTOR. WHEREAS, ~he Hollingsworth Corporation, a California corporation, has he~etofore executed an Easement Deed in favor of the City granting City an Easement of certain real property; and WHEREAS, ~ince the deed of such easement grant, Humble Oil and Refining Co~pany has acquired fee title to the property and has agreed to ~e dedication in exchange of same for street improvements; and WHEREAS, qity is agreeable to compensating Humble Oil and Refining Compan~ in accordance with the formula contained in that certain agreement previously submitted to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to accept such deed. NOW, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim ~hat the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby authprized and directed to execute that agree- ment submitted to t~ City of Anaheim by and between the City of Anaheim and Humble O~l and Refining Company authorizing the payment to Humble Oi~ and Refining Company of funds expended in accordance with the terms and conditions of said agreement for street improvements, but, in no event, to exceed Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00). BE IT FURT~R RESOLVED by the City Council that it is in the best interest~, of the City of Anaheim to accept said deed in exchange for the ~foresaid improvements. AND BE IT fURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authotized and directed to cause the foregoing deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County. ' C .,.. tE bF T~'O;' ANAHEIM FAL/ms-7-17-70 RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 388 A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHELM A CEPTING THE HISTORICAL RECORDS OF THE ANAHEIM ION WATER COMPANY AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR CA AND THE REASONABLE INSPECTION THERE- OF BY THE! DONOR. WHEREAS, ~he Anaheim Union Water Company, a Delaware Corporation, and a ~ubsidiary of Pacific Holding Corporation, has in its possession c~rtain of its predecessor's records which are of great historical interest to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, ~he Anaheim Union Water Company is willing to donate certain of s~id historical records not currently used by the Company to the City of Anaheim for safekeeping and display in the City of Anaheim Public Library; and WHEREAS, the City is in a position to accept, care for and preserve such h~storical records and documents for the benefit of the citizens of ~aheim and for the general public; and WHEREAS, the City is prepared to make such historical records and documen~s available to the Anaheim Union Water Company or its successor in interest at all reasonable times; and WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim and of its citizens that the City accept the don~tion of the Anaheim Union Water Company of its historical records and documents for preservation and display in the Anaheim publ:ic Library. NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anahei~ that it accept and it does hereby accept with sincere gratitude the donation of the Anaheim Union Water Company of certain of its ~istorica1 records and documents for preservation and display at the Anaheim Public Library. BE IT FU~HER RESOLVED that the Library Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever steps are necessary and ~oper to provide for the preservation, pro- tection and exhibi~ion of said historical records and documents of the Anaheim Union Water Company. BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that the Anaheim Union Water Company or its sucqessor in interest may, at all reasonable times, inspect and use such records to the extent of removing certain of them when, in the opinion of the Company, such records are necessary or helpf~l in the transaction of the Company's business.
