RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 385
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THAT
CERTAIN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND PARSONS ENTERPRISES, DARRELL PARSONS, SOLE
PROPRIETOR, DATED 1 JULY 1969, AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREE-
MENT.
WHEREAS, a contract was entered into between the City
of Anaheim and Parsons Enterprises as of the 1st day of July,
1969 to provide for lockers in the south lobby of the Convention
Center for use of the public during the operation of the Convention
Center; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Parsons Enterprises and
the City of Anaheim to extend said agreement for a period of three
(3) years; and .
WHEREAS, the City finds that it is in the best interests
of the City to permit Parsons Enterprises to furnish such lockers
and to assume all obligations in connection with said agreement
for a period of three (3) years.
NOW, THE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a first amendment to the agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Parsons Enterprises, dated 1 July 1969, be
made and entered into between the parties to said agreement pro-
viding as follows:
That certain contract entered into on 1 July 1969, be
extended to the 30th day of June, 1973, according to the
terms and conditions of said agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign said
first amendment to agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
28th day of July, 1970.
