A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING I~NUEL P. .MENDEZ,
ARCHITECT ( AIA, TO RENDER ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
IN CONNECTION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF TWO RECREATION
BUILDINGS AT THE CHAPARRAL PARK SITE.
WHEREAS, the City desires to construct a main building
and a restroom building at the Chaparral Park Site, and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of architectural services
in connection with construction of said buildings; and
WHEREAS, .~nuel P. Mendez, Architect, is qualified to
render such architectural services to the City, including general
administration and supervision of the construction work, and
desires to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said architect in the preparation of the plans and specifications
of the Chaparral Park buildings; and
WHEREAS, ~ form of agreement has this day been submitted
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim to be made and entered
into by and between Manuel P. Mendez, Architect, AIA, in the City
of ~~aheim providing for the rendering of said architectural
services upon the terms and conditions and for the compensation
therein set forth, which agreement the City Council finds would
be for the benefit and in the best interests of the City and
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be made and entered into by and between the City
of Anaheim and Manuel P. Mendez, Architect, AIA, providing for
the employment of said architect to render architectural services
to the City in connection with the Chaparral Park buildings upon
the terms and conditions for the compensation set forth in said
agreement be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of July, 1970.
