A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ~AHEIM AUTHORIZING A SIXTH AMEND-
MENT TO TfIAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY pF ANAHEIM AND SAFETY STRIPING
SERVICE. DATED AUGUST 7, 1964, AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, f1 contract was entered into between the City
of Anaheim and Safe~y Striping Service as of the 7th day of
August, 1964, providing for the employment of Safety Striping
Service to do all the work and furnish all the material neces-
sary to apply paint~d traffic stripes, pavement markings and
devices on various City Streets in the Ci ty of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was extended, in accordance
with its terms as modified on June 29, 1965, to June 30, 1966;
on June 28, 1966 to and including June 30, 1967; on July 1,
1967 to June 30, 1968; on June 25, 1968 to and including June
30, 1969; and again on July 1, 1969 to and including June 30,
1970; and
WHEREAS. the parties to said contract desire that said
contract be further extended, in accordance with its terms as
modified by the unit price for the fiscal year, 1970-71.
NOW. THE~FORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1 of
the City of Anaheim that a sixth amendment to the agreement be-
tween the City of Anaheim and Safety Striping Service, dated
August 7, 1964, be made and entered into between the parties to
said agreement, providing as follows:
That that certain contract entered into August 7, 1964,
and amended on June 29, 1965, on June 28, 1966, on July 1, 1967;
on June 25, 1968, and again on July 1, 1969, be extended as modi-
fied to and including June 30, 1971, and to expire on said June
301 1971, unless fu~ther extended by the parties thereto, subject
to the following modifications:
Referring to Article II of said contract, there shall be
added thereto the individual approximate quantities and
the individual unit prices of each item listed from Items
1 through 12, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be; and they are h~reby, authorized and directed to sign said
sixth amendment to agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
