A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim is
desirous gf purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WH.t.REAS, the owner_ of said property ha......2.- offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
BANKERS LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY OF NEBRASKA, a Nebraska
corporation,
to sell to the C1ty of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for

An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 2, Tract 71, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the southerly prolongation
of the centerline of State College Boulevard with the
centerline of Orangewood Avenue as shown on a Map filed in
Book 3, page 12 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder, said Orange County; thence N 890 59' 00" E, along
the centerline of said Orangewood Avenue, 988.11 feet;
thence S 00 01' 00" E, to a point of intersection with a
line 45 feet southerly of the centerline of Orangewood
Avenue, said point also being the true point of beginning
and beginning of a curve concave southwesterly and having
a radius of 25 feet, a radial line bearing N 00 01' 00" W,
passes through the said point of beginning of said curve;
thence easterly and southerly along said curve through a
central angle of 890 571 20" an arc distance of 39.25 feet:

a tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a radius
of 93 feet; thence southerly and easterly along said curve
through a central angle of 890 57' 40" an arc distance of
146.02 feet; thence N 890 59' 00" E, 241.76 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave northwesterly and
having a radius of 93 feet; thence easterly and northerly
along said curve through a central angle of 760 09' 15"
an arc distance of 123.61 feet; thence N 130 49' 45" E,
242.44 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave

southwesterly and having a radius of 25 feet, a radial

beginning of said curve; thence southeasterly and southerly

and having a radius of 168 feet; thence southerly along

westerly and having a radius of 29 feet; thence southerly
and southwesterly along said curve through a central angle

39' 00" W, 241.76 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave northeasterly and having a radius of 29 feet; thence
westerly and northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 890 57' 40" an arc distance of 45.53 feet; thence
N 00 03' 20" W, 691.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence northerly and easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 900 02' 20" an arc distance of 39.29 feet;
thence S 890 59' 00" W, 114.00 feet to the true point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
