RESOLUTION NO. 70R-328
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL
WRITTEN'BIDS RECEIVED UP TO THE HOUR
OF 2:00 IP.M. ON JUNE 26, 1970, FOR
SALE OF 'SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY, LOTS
46 AND 47 IN TRACT 1'5 91 IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE
OF CALIPOR.t\JIA.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 2nd day of June,
1970, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did by motion
determine that cer'tain property owned by the City of Anaheim
should be sold by sealed bids after PUblication of legal notice;
said property owneb. by the City of Anaheim, being Lots 46 and 47
in Tract 1591 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California; and
\'JHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the
City Clerk to publish a notice according to law providing sealed
bids for the purchase of Lots 46 and 47 in Tract 15.91 in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and fixing the
26th day of June, 1970, at the hour of 2:00 P.M. as the date and
hour of opening of said bids in the City Council Chambers in the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Upon the said 26th day of June, 1970, at the
hour of 2 :00 P.M. the City Clerk did open all bids received to
that hour in pUblic in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and
the City Clerk did tabulate said bids so received and reported the
results thereof to the City Council at its regular meeting held
on the 30th day of June, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that all written bids
received should be rejected as none of the bids reached the minimum
acceptable amount of $62,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all written bids for the purchase of Lots
46 and 47, Tract 1591, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California be and the same are hereby rejected.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of June, 1970.
