A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ~PROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN
AGREEMENT [BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
COMMUNIT~CENTER AUTHORITY FOR AN ADVANCE OF
$200,000. 0 TO ENCLOSE THE PATIO AT ANAHEIM
CONVENTIO CENTER AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLE TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.

WHEREAS, ~he Community Center Authority was created
pursuant to a Joint 'Exercise of Powers Agreement dated March 1,
1965, by and between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Union
High School District; and
WHEREAS, Section 6504 of the California Government Code
Joint powe~s Agreement provide that the City of Anaheim
contributiqns from its treasury for the purpose set
said Agree~ent; and
WHEREAS, ~he City of Anaheim desires the Community Center
Authority to cause ~o be constructed a patio enclosure at Anaheim
Convention Center p~rsuant to plans and specifications prepared
by Adrian Wilson As~ociates, Architects.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheimlthat the terms and conditions of an Agreement
to advance $200,000.100 to the Community Center Authority to
enclose the patio au Anaheim Convention Center are hereby approved.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that the Director of Systems and
Research is authori~ed and directed to draw a warrant in the sum
of $200,000.00 and ~orward said sum to the Community Center
Authority on or aboqt July 1, 1970.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
23rd day of June, 1970.
