RESOLUTION NO. 70R-314
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR
THE TRAINING OF THE HELICOPTER
PILOTS AND OBSERVERS IN THE ANAHEIM
POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City anticipates the purchase of a heli-
copter or helicopters for police patrol work; and
WHEREAS, World Assiciates, Inc. represents that it
has in its employ personnel who are properly licensed, trained
and qualified to give such light training; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain the services of
World for such service and World is willing to provide such
services.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci t;y Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim and the
City Clerk is authorized to sign an agreement between the City of
Anaheim and World Associates, Inc. to provide the training and
supervision for helicopter pilots and observers in the Anaheim
Police Department.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of June, 1970.
