A RESOLUTI~N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM!ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING to THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY F(j)R AN EAS. EMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PQRPOSES.
WHEREAS, t~e City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous cf purcha.ing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purp~ses, to wit: An easement for
~ad and public utility purposes
and
WHt:.IlliAS, t.pe owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey'the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, t~e City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei~ that the offer of
T. E. YELLIS ~nd MILDRED B. YELLIS, husband and wife,
to sell to the Clty of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utilit~ purposes _
, and more particular y described as follows;
An easement f~r road and public utility purposes over,
under and acrqss that portion of the North half of the
Northwest qua~ter of the Southwest quarter of Section 8,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., in the
Rancho San Ju~n Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map
recorded in B~ok 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Alameda Avenue
and Brookhurst Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 5053,
recorded in B~ok 183, pages 34 through 38 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence N 00 16'
10" W, along the centerline of said Brookhurst Street, 23
feet; thence S 890 40' 09" E, 74.77 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence N 00 16' 10" W, 7 feet; thence S 890
40' 09" E, 240.02 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence
northeasterly and northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 900 36' 01" an arc distance of 23.72 feet;
thence N 00 16' 10" W, 573.58 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave southwesterly and having a radius of
15 feet; thence northerly and northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 890 27' 12" an arc distance of
23.42 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 45 feet southerly of the centerline of Crescent Avenue;

BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
City of Anahei~ be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
City of Anahei~, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
