RESOLUTION NO. 70R-29l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DIRECTING ACTION TO BE TAKEN WITH
FUNDS APPORTIONED TO CITY FROM FEDERAL TOPICS
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, there exists a Federal Topics Program
dealing with street and highway safety and improvement; and
WHEREAS, a State Topics Advisory Committee, in
conjunction with the State Department of Public Works has made
recommendations resulting in the apportionment of $220,938.00
to the City of Anaheim as its share of the federal topics
funds for the 1969-70 fiscal year and of $206,454.00 as its
share in the federal topics funds for the 1970-71 fiscal
year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to make use of said funds and to therefore inform the
State Department of Public Works of the action it intends to
take.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anah~im that the aforementioned funds shall
be expended by the City of Anaheim for purposes of a study
regarding streets and traffic for improvement projects to
correct problems relating to capacity and movement of traffic,
subject to all requirements of the Federal Topics Program.
