RESOLUTION NO. 70R-288
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ~CCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public u~ili~ pu~oses
Anaheim is
real property
and
Writ..RbAS, the owner_of said property ha -8-- offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NO\'J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
JOHN ANDREW KlJNNY, a single man
to sell to the Clty of Anahelm the followlng described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utilitv p~rp~se~
, and more partlcu arly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey made by William
Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles COunty, California, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, page 163, et seq., entitled "Los Angeles
County Maps", records of said Orange County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Vermont Avenue
and Anaheim Boulevard, formerly known as Los Angeles
Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 1245 recorded in Book
43, pages 26 and 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; thence N 740 28' 00" E, along
the centerline of said Vermont Avenue, 68 feet; thence
s 150 32' E, 33 feet to a point of intersection with the
southerly right of way line of said Vermont Avenue, said
point also being the beginning of a curve concave south-
eas~erly and having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line
bearing N 150 321 W, passes through the point of begin-
ning of said curve; thence southwesterly and southerly
along said curve through a central angle of 900 00' 15"
an arc distance of 23.56 feet to a point of intersection
with the easterly right of way line of said Anaheim
Boulevard; thence N 740 27' 45" W, 53 feet to the centerline
of said Anaheim Boulevard; thence N 150 321 15" W, along
the said centerline of said Anaheim Boulevard 48 feet to
the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FUR1HER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim ije, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
