RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 247
A RESOLUWION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE~M ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED AND
AUTHORIZ[NG PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim required the dedication
of additional right bf way for Lewis Street as set forth in the
easement deed toward which the resolution is directed; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property involved and
the lessee thereof have tendered an easement deed covering said
additional right of way for a total consideration of $640.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the
best interests of the City to make such payment and accept such
deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept and it does hereby accept that
certain easement deed dated April 16, 1970, covering the following
described property:
An easment for road and public utility purposes,
including construction and maintenance of a slope
area over, under and across that portion of the East
half of the N~rtheast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, lying Easterly
of the Northeasterly right of way line of the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right of way line described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the East line of
the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 23 with the Northeasterly line of the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's right
of way line (100 feet wide); thence along the East
line of the NQrtheast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of said Section 23, North 00 15' 29"West 465.86
feet to the true pOint of beginning; thence South
890 56' 01" West 58.00 feet; thence North 40 27'
30" East 66.80 feet; thence North 890 44' 31" East
52.51 feet to an intersection with the East line
of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest auarter
of said Section 23; thence South 00 15' 29" East
66.77 feet to the true point of beginning.
Togethe~ with all rights of access to Lewis Street
from the adjoining property to the West, over and
across that certain course described above as having
a bearing and distance of North 40 27' 30" East 66.80
feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she
is hereby authorized and directed to cause said easement deed to
be recorded.

AKD BE J:T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant in the
amount of $640.00 payable to Potters Bros. - California, Inc. and
to be mailed to Potters Bros. - California, Inc., c/o Mr. Astil,
1255 South Lewis St~eet, Anaheim, California; said warrant to be
delivered to the Ri~ht of Way Division for transmittal and to be
charged to Work Order No. 566-B.
