70R-239 RESOLUTION NO. 70R-239 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purcha$ing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purp$ses, to wit: An easement for road and pub11c utility purposes and WHL:.REAS, the owner s of said property have offered to sell and convey the sarne-to the City; and ---- WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of RAYMOND G. SPEHAR and ESTELLE K. SPEHAR, husband and wife and MARCIA ANN HALLIGAN, a married woman, and PRESLEY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a California corporation and WM. LYON DEVELOPMENT CO., INC., a Delaware Corporation to sell to the C~ty of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes , and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of allotments in decree of Partition of the Rancho Canon de Santa Ana in the County of Orange, State of California, rendered in Case No. 1978 of the 17th Judicial District Court of California, a certified copy of which was recorded February 8, 1874 in Book 28, page 158 of Deeds in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California described as follows: Commencing at the centerline intersection of the easterly extension of La Palma Avenue and Imperial Highway as set forth in Deed No. 249, recorded October 2, 1967 in Book 8390, page 488, Official Records; thence South 860 31' 03" East, 104.26 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southerly and having a radius of 1,400 feet; thence easterly along said curve through a central angle of" 00 24' 07" an arc distance of 9.82 feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 10 23' 00" East, 45.04 feet to the beginning of a curve concave southerly having a radius of" 1,445 feet, a radial line bearing North 30 48' 23" East, passes through the point of beginning of said curve; thence easterly and southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 180 59' 17" an arc distance of 478.88 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve concave northerly and having a radius of 1,355 feet; thence southeasterly, easterly and northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 400 48' 33" an arc distance of 965.10 feet; thence North 710 59' 07" East, 838.18 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of 1,510 feet; thence -1- northeasterly and northerly along said curve through a central angle of 210 13' 48" an arc distance of 559.51 feet; thence South 20 02' 20" West, 117.28 feet to the beginning of a curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of 1,600 feet, a radial line bearing South 360 28' 22" East passes through the point of beginning of said curve; thence southwesterly and westerly along said curve through a central angle of 180 27' 29" an arc dis- tance of 515.45 feet; thence South 710 59' 07" West, , 838.18 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave northerly and having a radius of 1,445 feet; thence south- westerly, westerly and northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 400 48' 33" an arc distance of 1,029.21 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve concave southerly and having a radius of 1,355 feet; thence northwesterly and westerly along said curve through a central angle of 180 49' 37" an arc distance of 775.27 feet; thence North 10 23' 00" East, 45.04 feet to the true point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
