RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 238
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
public utility purposes
and
WH.t:.Rl:.AS, the owner-!.- of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
DAVID C. MADDOX an~ DOROTHY S. MADDOX. husband and wife.
A. DANIEL MADDOX qd GERTRUDE H. MADDOX. husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
public utility pur90ses
, an more particularly described as follows:
Parcel One: An easement for public utility overhang
purposes for electric power lines and cross arms over
the southerly 5 feet of Lot 6 of the Kellogg Homestead
Tract as shown on a Map thereof, recorded in Book 8,
page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
Parcel Two: A public utility easement for the instal-
lation and maintenance of underground electrical con-
duit and related electrical facilities as shown on a
map attached hereto and made a part hereof, over, under
and across a strip of land 5 feet wide, unless other-
wise indicated on said Map, lying within a portion of
the following described parcel of land:
Lot 6, of the Kellogg Homestead Tract, as shown on a
Map thereof, recorded in Book 8, page 51 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of Orange County, California.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
