A RESO~TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANA IM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEY NG TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPER Y FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILIT PURPOSES.
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purc asing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu poses, to wit: An easement for road and pUblic
utility purposes;! and
WHEREASI, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convew the same to the City; and
WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for th~ benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept' said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, TH;REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of An heim that the offer of NORMA JEAN WYNNE, an
unmarried woman; ARGARET C. MAYES, a married woman, who acquired
title as MARGARET MAYES; CLAIRE JUNE SHORT, a married woman,
who acquired titl, as CLAIRE J. SHORT; CLARENCE C. CLEMENT,
who acquired titl, as CLARENCE CLEMENT and ORLETHA E. CLEMENT,
husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real pr~perty situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State ~f California, to be used for an easement for
road and pUblic utility purposes, more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for ~oad and pUblic utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 5 of the Travis Tract as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 120, Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles Cdunty, California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the westerly line of the Rancho Santiago
de Santa Ana, beaJring N 320 42-1/2" E, 612.62 feet from a stake
marked S.S.A. 69, as shown on a map of a portion of the Travis
Tract recorded in Book 2, page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence N 320 42' 30" E, along
the westerly line of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana as set
forth in Deed recorded December 19, 1963 in Book 6852, page
129, Official Recprds, Orange County, California, 706.38 feet
to Station 68; th~nce N 280 38' 45" E, 163.80 feet; thence
S 890 45' 30" E., 247.68 feet; thence S 00 10' 30" W, 819.96
feet to the true point of beginning; thence S 890 55' 30" E.,
103.22 feet to th~ beginning of a tangent curve concave north-
westerly and havipg a radius of 68 feet; thence northeasterly
and northerly along said curve through a central angle of 890
54' 00" an arc di$tance of 106.70 feet; thence N 00 10' 30"
E, 423.85 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
southeasterly and having a radius of 132 feet; thence northerly
and northeasterly along said curve through a central angle

55' 30" E, 103.69 feet; thence S 00 10' 30" W, 64 feet; thence
N 890 55' 30" W, 103.57 feet to the beginning of a tangent

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said prop~rty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anahe~m be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners or said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anahe~m, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
