RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 226
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF D.
M. BROWN TO RENDER ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN THE PREPARATION OF
PLANS A~ SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
A FIRE STATION AT WEST EUCLID AVENUE NORTH OF
THE CARBON CREEK CHANNEL IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to construct a
Fire Station at West Euclid Avenue north of the Carbon Creek
Channel in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
an architect in the preparation of plans and specifications for
said Fire Station Bailding; and
WHEREAS,D. M. BROWN, Architect, desires to furnish
such services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that D. M. Brown,
Architect, is qualified to furnish such architectural services
and that it would b~ to the advantage and for the best interest
of the City to emp1Qy said D. M. Brown to render architectural
services in the preparation of plans and specifications for
said Fire Station Building, upon the terms and conditions set
forth in that certain agreement dated May 5, 1970.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that D. M. Brown be, and he is hereby employed
to perform for the City of Anaheim the architectural services
required in the preparation of plans and specifications for the
construction of a Fire Station Building at West Euclid Avenue
north of the Carbon Creek Channel in the City of Anaheim, upon the
terms and conditions set forth in that certain written agreement
dated May 5, 1970, this day submitted to the City Council and
incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of May, 1970.
