RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 211
A RESOLUTIION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING iTO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY F10R AN EASEMENT FOR UNDERGROUND
ELECTRICAD PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purch~sing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pur~oses, to wit: An easement for
undergrqund electrical purposes
and
wR~REAS, ~he owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for th~ benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THERijFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ALMONT WOODS. a limited partnership
to sell to the C~ty of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
underqtound electrical purEoses
, and more part1cularly described as follows:
A public utility easement for the installation and
maintenance of underground electrical conduit and
related elect~ical facilities as shown on a Map
attached hereto and made a part hereo~, over, under
and across a strip of land 5 feet wide, unless other-
wise indicated on said Map lying within the following
described parcel of land:
Lot 1 of Tract No. 6646, as shown on a Map thereof
recorded in BOok 249, pages 38 and 39 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County.
EXCEPT THEREFROM that portion thereof described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said Lot 1,
distant South 890 56' 28" West, 23.00 feet from the
southeast corner thereof; thence along said southerly
line, South 990 561 29" West, 137.50 feet: thence parallel
with the easterly line of said Lot 1, North 00 051 09"
East, 211.54 feet to a point in a non-tangent curve con-
cave northwesterly having a radius of 50.00 feet, a
radial line of said curve passing through said point
bears South 140 19' 57" East~ thence northeasterly along
said curve through a central angle of 350 56' 04" an arc
distance of 31.36 feet to the beginning of a reverse
curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 50.00
feet~ thence northeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 500 12' 29" an arc distance of 43.81
feet~ thence tangent to said curve North 890 56' 28" East,

westerly hav~ng a radius of 25.00 feet; thence southeast-

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anahe~ be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the s~ of One Dollar ($l.OO).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of April , 1970.
