A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ALICE B. EMERY, an unmarried woman
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the westerly 53 feet as
measured at right angles to the centerline of
Anaheim Boulevard of that parcel of land described
as follows:
Lot 3, Tract 1245, as shown on a Map thereof, re-
corded in Book 43, pages 26 and 27, Miscellaneous
Maps records of Orange County, California. EXCEPTING
THEREFROM the northeasterly 18.30 feet and the south-
easterly 0.80 feet.
NOTE: For the purpose of this description, the center-
line of Anaheim Boulevard is assumed to be the Westerly
line of said Lot 3.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of April , 19 70 .
