A RESOLUTImN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIMTFI~ING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OFA&ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN ~ OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, t~e City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretof~r~duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denialio~a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter m~ntioned and described, after having fixed a
time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as Ptescribed in Title 18 o{ the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and after hav ng duly held and conducted such public hear-
ing to consider sai~ proposed change of zone or zones, and after.
having received evi~ence and reports from persons interested
therein; a.nd
WHEREAS, w~thin a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, th~ Planning Commission did duly announce by for-
mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recomme~ding denial of said proposed ~hange in the
boundaries of the zcne or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and ~
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Plannin$ Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 31st day cf March , 19 70 , as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the~y of Anaheim as the
place for a public ~earing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones and did give not~ce thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, a~ the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did giv~ all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, tpe City Council does find and determine that
the property and ar~a proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW, THERE'ORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anah~im, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follow$:
The Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City
of Anaheim, Count~ of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a map thereof recOrded in Book 51, page 11, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFRpM the South 503 feet thereof, as conveyed to
Savanna School Di~trict of Orange County by deeds recorded May
19, 1960 in Book i5251, pages 303 and 305, of Official Records.
ALSO EXCEPTING TaEREFROM the West 148 feet of the North 148 feet
of the South 651 'feet thereof as conveyed to Robert D. Etchandy
and wife, by deed recorded May 11, 1954, in Book 2725, page 9,
Official Records.
