RESOLUTION NO. 70R-l49
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND HUGHES TOOL COMPANY.
WHEREAS, .the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
determined that it.would be in the best interests of the City to
acquire two helicopters to assist in police work; and
WHEREAS, Hughes Too~Company has submitted specifica-
tions for such helicopters and " is in a position to deliver the
same to the City of Anaheim within a reasonable time; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
a Lease Agreement to be entered into between the City of
Anaheim and the Hughes Tool Company for the acquisition of said
helicopters; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the city of Anaheim to enter into said Lease Agree-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they
are hereby authorized to execute a Lease Agreement with the
Hughes Tool Company for the acquisition of two helicopters for
use by the Anaheim Police Department.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of March, 1970.
