RESOLUTION NO. 70R-139
A RESOLUTtON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 118.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a ,ublic hearing to consider an amendment to
the Circulation Ele~ent - Highway Rights-of-Way on the General
Plan by establishin9 Kellogg Drive between Orangethorpe Avenue
and La Palma Avenue, from a standard secondary of 90 feet, to an
exception secondary highway of 80 feet, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, ~ollowing said hearing thereon, the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of
its findings, a s~ary of the evidence presented at said hearing,
and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan,
designated as Amendment No. 118, be adopted by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, ~pon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission,. the City Council did fix the 24th day of
March, 1970, as the .time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall
of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said proposed Amendment No. 118 to the General Plan and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and .conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 118 to the General Plan, amending the Circulation
Element - Highway Rights-of-Way on said General Plan by establish-
ing Kellogg Drive between Orangethorpe Avenue and La Palma
Avenue, from a standard secondary of 90 feet, to an exception
secondary highway of 80 feet, should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 118 to the General Plan,
amending the Circulation Element - Highway Rights-of-Way on said
General Plan by establishing Kellogg Drive between Orangethorpe
Avenue and La Palma Avenue, from a standard secondary of 90 feet,
to an exception secondary highway of 80 feet, be, and the same is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 118 herein approved.
