A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utili tv purpose~
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of W. S. DUBOSE, INC.,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
uti lit ur oses

An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across a strip of land 5.00 feet wide
being a portion fractional Section 5, Township
4 South, Range 9 West, of the San Bernardino
Meridian, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, according to an
official plat of said land filed in the Dis-
trict Land Office, March 23, 1875, attached,
the easterly line of said strip being des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 1
of said Section; thence South 890 59' 38"
West along the south line of said Lot 1, 535.67
feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 140 04' 36" East, 553.36 feet -&0 i:he
point of intersection with a line parallel
wi th the south line of said Lot 1. The east-
erly and westerly lines of said 5.00 foot
strip terminating at said parallel line.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the southerly portion lying
within the right of way of La Palma Avenue.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
17th day of March 19 70 .
