A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE CYPRESS CONGREGA-
TION OF JE~V.AH'S WITNESSES, a California Corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
ublic uti it ur oses

An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the northerly 57 feet as
measured at right angles to the centerline of
Orange Avenue of that parcel of land bounded by
Orange Avenue on the north and Orange County
Flood Control District Canal on the south, 3
feet in width, (from west to east), beginning
162 feet eiiiSt of the west edge of the north
one-half of the Northwest Quarter of the North-
east Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of March , 19 70 .
