A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE-
MENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND T. TAMARU & ASSOCIATES
TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE CITY'S DATA PROCESSING
PROGRAM AND IMPROVE THE UTILIZATION OF EXISTING
DATA PROCESSING CAPABILITIES.
WHEREAS, T. Tamaru & Associates, having extensive experi-
ence and knowledge in Municipal Data Processing Systems, is highly
qualified to provide expert data processing services to the City's
data processing programi and
WHEREAS, the services to be rendered are of a type and
complexity requiring services of a professional, expert, and
technical character and are of a temporary and occasional naturei
and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City that T. Tamaru
& Associates provide support to the City's on-going data processing
program, improve the utilization of existing data processing
capabilities, recommend appropriate actions to improve data pro-
cessing operations, and assist in the development of the City's
Short and Long-Range Data Processing Plansi and
WHEREAS, the necessary funds have been provided for these
services during the calendar year 1970.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the City
Council to be made and entered into by and between the paDties,
providing for the employment by the City of said T. Tamaru &
Associates to provide support to the City's on-going data proces-
sing program and improve the utilization of existing data proces-
sing capabilities, upon the terms and conditions therein set forth,
be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of March, 1970.
