A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CANCELLING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA CALLED DISTRICT AGREEMENT NO. 2460
AND AUTHO!UZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDED
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS,
WITH REFEtu:NCE TO CONSTRUCTION OF OUTSIDE CURBS,
GUTTERS AND DRIVEWAYS, CONSTRUCTION OF STORM
DRAINAGE FACILITIES AND THE PREPARATION OF THE
MEDIAN AREA FOR LANDSCAPING ON STATE HIGHWAY
ROUTE 07-0RA-39 (BEACH BOULEVARD) BETWEEN THE
SOUTH CITY LIMITS AND THE NORTH CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 69R-745 the
City of Anaheim did enter into a cooperative agreement with
the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, called District Agreement No. 2460; and
WHEREAS, certain changes have made necessary the
cancellation of said agreement entered into on the 23rd day
of December, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the State of California does desire that a
new cooperative agreement be entered into and executed by and
between the City and State called District AgreelDB~ No':' 2460, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, the State of California contemplates the
improvement of State Highway Route 07-0ra-39 (Beach Boulevard)
between Garden Grove Boulevard and Manchester Boulevard in the
County of Orange, and the City of Anaheim desires to provide for
the betterment of the area along said State Highway, and desires
to construct concrete curb, gutter and commercial driveways
along the frontage of several privately-owned parcels, to con-
struct drainage facilities on and adjacent to several privately-
owned parcels and to prepare the median area within the City
limits for future landscaping; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Business
and Transportation Agency, Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, has submitted to the City a Cooper.ative Agreement
designated "District Agreement No. 2460," providing for the
improvements and betterments along the aforesaid State Highway
upon the terms and conditions and for the proportionate share
of the costs therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to enter into
said Cooperative Agreement with the State of California and that
the same shall be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said "District Agreement No. 2460," pre-
viously entered into and executed by the City of Anaheim on the
23rd day of December, 1969, is hereby cancelled.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim thalt said District Agreement No. 2460 submitted
to the City on February 3, 1970, as amended by the State of
California, through its Division of Transportation Agency, Depart-
of Public Works, DiVision of Highways, providing for the improve-
ments and bettermenrts along Beach Boulevard, between the South
City Limits and the North City Limits of the City of Anaheim,
upon the terms and conditions and for the proportionate share
of costs therein set forth, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURU'HER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to e;.Kecute said
agreement as amended for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of March, 1970.
