A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ~EIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF UNDER-
STANDING ~ETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
THE ANAHE])M FIRE ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, on Deqember 9, 1980, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 80R-545 adopttng a Memorandum of Understanding between the
City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Fire Association; and
WHEREAs, the City Management Representative and the Anaheim
Fire Association have met and conferred and agreed to clarify Personnel Rule
15 - Holidays, so as to provtde for the payment of holidays during periods
when they are being paid while off on Industrial injury or illness (4850
Time); and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to
also apply this settlement to management personnel assigned to fire
suppression duties;and
WHEREAS, a Let~er of Understanding dated August 3, 1983 between
the parties has been prepare4 and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the Letter o~ Understanding dated August 3, 1983 between the
City of Anaheim and the Anah~im Fire Association is hereby approved and
adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 30th day of August , 1983.
