RESOLUTION NO. 83R-349
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ~EOUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR-
CONTROLLER ~O CANCEL CERTAIN WEED ABATEMENT
ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE IMPOSED BY THE CITY ON
CERTAIN TAX EXEMPT PROPERTY IDENTIFIED AS
ASSESSOR'S ~ARCELS NO. 036-063-01 AND
036-063-38.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereto-
fore adopted Resolution No. 82R-393 confirming the written report
of the Fire Chief regarding the cost of weed abatement and direc-
ting the filing thereof with the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 83R-393 further request and
authorize the County Auditor-Controller of the County of Orange to
a certain assessment against each of the parcels of property de-
scribed therein, including Assessor's Parcels No. 036-063-01 and
036-063-38; and
WHEREAS, sa~d request and assessment was inadvertently
made as to saidAsse~sor's Parcels No. 036-063-01 and 036-063-38
for the reason that ~aid parcels are owned by the City of Anaheim
and are tax exempt.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City does hereby request the County
Auditor-Controller tQ cancel the special assessments plus penal-
ties that have accru~d or will otherwise accrue pursuant to said
Resolution No. 83R-393 with regard to Assessor's Parcels No.
036-063-01 and 036-063-38.
BE IT FURTHBR resolved that a certified copy of this res-
olution shall be forwarded to the County Auditor-Controller.
