RESOLUTION NO. 83R-357
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
DEED FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
(Southern Pacific - RELMIS: BAA-Sll.9-X (N))
WHEREAS, an easement deed for street and highway
purposes has been presented to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said deed having been determined to be correct
in both form and substance, the City Council finds it is
in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said deed;
and
WHEREAS, said deed contains 'conditions which obligate
the City of Anaheim to reimburse Southern Pacific Transportation
Company for certain materials and labor to be provided and per-
formed by Southern Pacific on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby resolve to accept said deed.
BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be, and
he is hereby autho~ized and directed to reimburse Southern Pacific
Transportation Company upon presentation of bills therefor
pursuant to the terms of said Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby authorized and directed to transmit said easement
deed to Southern P~cific Transportation Company for execution
by Southern Pacific together with a certified copy of this re-
solution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authori~ed and directed to cause said deed to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder upon receipt of
said executed deed from Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of September , 1983.
