RESOLUTION NO. 83R-367
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT TO MOVE A
GARAGE STRUCTURE TO 580 SOUTH GREENWICH STREET IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, William F. Palmer did file a written appli-
cation for a house moving permit to move a garage structure from
11611 Westminster Avenue, Garden Grove, to 580 South Greenwich
Street; and
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public
hearing on the 6th day of September, 1983, at the hour of 1:30
o'clock P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for said
public hearing having been given by mail to all persons residing
within a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the property
upon which it is proposed to move said garage structure at least
ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for said hearing, as the
names of such owners appeared upon the last available tax
assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having corne on regularly for
hearing upon said date and said hearing having been duly held
and conducted and all persons interested therein given an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and the City Council having duly considered
said application for a house moving permit, together with all
evidence and reports submitted in connection therewith, does
find that said permit should be granted for the following
reasons:
1. That the house, building or structure proposd to be
moved is comparable in value, size, quality, design and appear-
ance to houses, buildings or structures in the area into which
it is to be moved; and
2. That it will not be detrimental to, nor diminish the
value of property in the area; and
3. That less than a majority of the property owners in the
area object to the moving of the house, building or stucture
onto the property where it is proposed to be moved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the application of William F. Palmer
for a house moving permit to move a garage structure to 580
South Greenwich Street, Anaheim, California, be, and the same is
hereby, granted subject to compliance with all of the provisions
of Title 15, Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this l3th day of
September, 1983.
