A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM V~CATING A PORTION OF TWO EXISTING
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED NORTH OF
CASTLE AV~NUE, WEST OF FEATHER STREET, AT 1317
CASTLE A~NUE. (83-3A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public stredts, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of September, 1983, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said propOsed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHE~EAS, if and to the extent that there are in
place public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepte~ by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THER$FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that portion
of that public utility easement located at 1137 Castle Avenue,
more specifically de$cribed as follows:

That portion of that certain easement for public
utility purposes in, on and over the nor~herly 6.00
feet of Lot 87 Qf Tract No. 1981, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
recorded on February 3, 1955 in Book 67, pages 26
through 29, Misoellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County as conveyed by deed to
the Southern California Edison Company recorded on
March 23, 1955 in Book 3006, page 75 of Official
Records in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, $aid easement acquired by the City of
Anaheim as successor described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 87 of
said Tract No. 1981; thence S 00 15' 16" E, 6.00
feet; thence S 890 44' 44" W, 3.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 890 44' 44" W, 30.00
feet; thence NOo 15' 16" W, 4.00 feet; thence N 890
44' 44" E, 30.00 feet thence S 00 15' 16" E, 4.00
feet to the true point of beginning.
Also abandoning that portion of that certain 5.00
foot wide ease~ent for public utility purposes as
shown on said Lot 87 of said Tract No. 1981 located
in, on and over the northerly 5.00 feet of said Lot
87, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 87 of
said Tract No. 1981; thence S 00 15' 16" E, 5.00
feet; thence S890 44' 44" W, 3.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 890 44' 44" W, 30.00
feet; thence N 00 15'16" W, 3.00 feet; thence N 890
44' 44" E, 30.00 feet; thence S 00 15' 16" E, 3.00
feet to the true point of beginning.
