RESOLUTION NO. 83R-438
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN EASEMENTS EXTENDING
NORTHERLY FROM CHESTNUT STREET AND ON PROPERTY
SOUTH OF LINCOLN AVENUE, EAST OF CITRON STREET,
AND NORTH OF BROADWAY. (83-4A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of November, 1983, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of three public
utility easements, more specifically described as follows:
Those portions of those certain public utility
easements for sewer and drainage purposes in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
described as follows:
PARCEL 1:

That portion of that particular public utility
easement for sewer purposes, 30.00 feet in width as
described in Book 194, page 343 of Deeds, records of
said Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and Citron Street; thence N 75 degrees, 27'
56" E, 545.39 feet; thence S 14 degrees 26' 25" E,
207.44 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence S
14 degrees 26' 25" E, 25.00 feet; thence S 75 degrees
33' 35" W, 155.23 feet; thence N 14 degrees 26' 25"
W, 25.00 feet; thence N 75 degrees 33' 35" E, 155.23
feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of that particular public utility
easement for drainage purposes as described in Book
3956, page 43 of Official Records of said Orange
County located under and across the easterly 5.00
feet of Lot 14 in Block 1 of the Enterprise Tract as
shown on a map in Book 4, page 89 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and Citron Street; thence N 75 degrees 27' 56"
E, 545.39 feet; thence S 14 degrees 26' 25" E, 236.78
feet; thence N 75 degrees 27' 56" E, 44.00 feet;
thence S 14 degrees 26' 25" E, 14.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 14 degrees 26' 25" E,
135.55 feet along the easterly line of said Lot 14;
thence S 75 degrees 27' 56" W, 5.00 feet; thence N 14
degrees 26' 25" W, 135.55 feet; thence N 75 degrees
27' 56" E, 5.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL 3:
That portion of that particular public utility
easement for sewer purposes, 20.00 feet in width as
described in Book 195, page 247 of Deeds, records of
said Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and Citron Street~ thence S 14 degrees 26' 21"
E, 627.68 feet; thence N 75 degrees 25' 29" E, 194.75
feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 14
degrees 26' 21" W, 17.00 feet; thence N 75 degrees
25' 29" E, 64.00 feet; thence S 62 degrees 42' 21" W
to the true point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
